LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Everyone was able to safely escape a fire that fully engulfed a kitchen in Lincoln over the weekend.
At least a dozen crews were called to the house near South 5th and A Streets on Sunday.
The blaze broke out just after 3:30 p.m., and it took a couple of hours to put out.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue says the homeowners’ dogs also got away without any injuries.
There's smoke damage throughout the home in addition to what happened in the kitchen.
No word on how much repairs will cost or what started the blaze.
